Payment Methods
We accept U.S. credit cards, checks and purchase orders from state and federally funded institutions including, public K-12 schools, state colleges/universities, public libraries, municipalities and all branches of the military.
For all other customers a U.S. credit card is required for purchasing from the website.
When paying with a purchase order, a copy of the purchase order must be received before the order will be processed. The P.O. can be emailed to Info@secfurniture.com, faxed to 888.439.2725 or mailed to Scholastic Equipment Company, 3880 Laverne Ave. N. Suite 220 Lake Elmo, MN 55042.
Warranty
All of the products we sell are warranted by their specific manufacturer. These warranties range from one year to up to lifetime guarantees. For warranty of a specific item call us at 800.459.8527 (M-F, 8-5) or email us at info@secfurniture.com.
Large Quantity Discounts

Is the site and ordering online secure?
The security of your personal information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information, such as credit card number on our registration form, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. How long will it take for me to receive my product?
Orders generally take 3-4 weeks once the order is placed. For more specific lead time please contact us at 800.459.8527. Orders shipped by truck are standard tailgate delivery. Inside delivery is available for an additional charge.
What will I be charged for shipping?
Items marked free shipping will be shipped no charge. For all other items please use Shipping Charges drop-down box on checkout page.
What do I do in case of freight damage?
It is your responsibility to check the shipment for any damage. Make sure you do this before the truck driver leaves your location. Note any damage to the cartons or product on the delivery receipt. If damage is not noted on the delivery receipt the shipping company and Scholastic Equipment Company will not take responsibility for the damage. If a majority of the shipment is damaged, refuse the shipment and mark the delivery receipt “Damaged – Refused”. After you have noted the damage on the delivery receipt, call us at 800.459.8527 (M-F, 8-5 CST) and we will help resolve the problem.
What is the policy on refunds?
If your order arrives correctly but you decide you want or need to return it, you will be responsible for all shipping charges, including return charges. You must contact us within two weeks to return these items. In some cases, you will be charged a restocking fee of 15-30% by the manufacturer. If you have any questions or are unsure about the items you are interested in buying call us before you order.
Important Note: Please keep the original cartons in which your order shipped until you are
satisfied that your merchandise is correct and undamaged. Most manufacturers will not accept
returns of merchandise not in the original packaging, and freight companies often ask to inspect
the packaging if a shipment is reported as damaged.
